Day 1: Kathmandu -
Bhadrapur (by air) - Darjeeling
(about 150 km / 05 hrs.)
Arrival at Kathmandu connecting flight to Bhadrapur. Upon arrival at
Bhadrapur airport, you
will be met by an Indo Vacations representative and
drive to Darjeeling. Overnight at the hotel in Darjeeling.
Day 2: Darjeeling
Early morning we have tour of Tiger Hills (at around 4 am) to view sunrise
over Kanchenjunga Peak (subject to clear weather). On way back we visit
Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop. Afternoon we will visit the Himalayan
Zoological Park (Closed on Thursday), Himalayan Mountaineering
Institute, Gumbu Rock site and Tibetan Refugee self-help (Closed on
Sunday) Center. Overnight at the hotel in Darjeeling.
Day 3:
Darjeeling - Gangtok
( 115km, 04 hrs)
After Breakfast we drive from Darjeeling to Gangtok on the way (Optional
White River Rafting at Teesta River). Overnight at the hotel in
Gangtok.
Day 4:
Gangtok
Early morning we start sightseeing of
Rumtek Monastery-the principal seat of
Karma pa out of Tibet and the largest one in
Sikkim, and go to Kanchejunga View Point, Drul-Chorten ,Sikkim Research Institute of
Tibetology, handicraft centers and check in hotel at Gangtok..
Evening Free to explore Gangtok.
Day 5:
Gangtok
Easy excursion to Tsomgo Lake situated at the Indo-China border at an
altitude of 12,400ft. (option to have an experience of Yak ride
here). Enjoy the serene beauty of the lake and return back to
Gangtok. Overnight
at the hotel in Gangtok.
Day 6:
Gangtok - Puntosling (Bhutan border 230 kms / 6 hrs)
Break fast in the morning. Check out from hotel transfer to
Puntosling (Bhutan) meet Bhutan guide at night and further trip
journey with Bhutan.
