Raheem Residency - Alleppey

Raheem Residency  is a heritage hotel at Alleppey Beach, Kerala, in south India.
Famous for the award-winning restoration of this 1868 Alleppey landmark, our boutique hotel has also developed an international reputation for its portrayal of South Indian friendliness and warmth, an eye-to-detail in the sophisticated comfortable interiors, delicious food, and a very private pool. This heritage hotel has ten rooms all with different styles but sharing an indisputable heartfelt loyalty to their history. But the modern world impinges here and there, especially with FREE WI-FI! Our rates range from low to high depending on the season.
When you make that unforgettable trip down the backwaters of Kerala stop off and stay with us in Raheem Residency. Enjoy the comfort and a little bit of Indian history.

Accommodation:
Hotel Raheem Residency is a spacious bungalow with a large and high ceiling living room, generous front and back verandahs and six en-suite air-conditioned bedrooms  furnished in rich traditional Kerala style. The premier room is Raheem’s Honeymoon Room with the Kerala style bathroom, partly open.

Restaurant:

Our main restaurant, Chakara (plentiful catch of fish), is in a semi-open space on an upper floor, looking out to the Arabian Sea.  For Breakfast, expect freshly-pressed juice, tropical fruit platter, a variety of egg-based dishes and typical Kerala food like Dosha/Idly/Puttu and Oottapam with Sambar & Chutney.
Lunch is a lighter affair. Served poolside or in Chakara, a sandwich of freshly-poached tuna, gherkins, egg and home-made mayonnaise. Stuffed Chapatti with Aubergine Masala and for the brave-hearted try Raheem’s Mini Meals and Biriyani.  At dinner watch out for healthy, traditional dishes like Alleppey Fish Curry; Masala Prawns; Kerala Chicken Curry; Vegetable Korma etc. And you will want try Kerala Rose Rice – the softest, most velvety rice in.

Facilities:
There is a massage room for males and females separately with the hot shower bathrooms. These rooms have been refurbished from a myriad of tiny out houses, some of which were used to store coconut shells in times gone by. There is also a swimming pool known as the Apple Pool, named after the Velvet Apple tree in the courtyard. It is a 14.7 meter pool imported from France. The tourists can also avail various facilities like a backwater cruise, visit to the local temples, coir weaving industry and spice factory, stroll on the sandy beach, tea with an Indian family and shopping,
Location:
Hotel Raheem Residency is located about 1.45 hours journey from the Cochin airport, 3.5 hours from the Trivandrum airport, 1 hours from the historic fort Cochin, 1.5 hours from the Kumarakom Bird sanctuary, 10 mins. from Alleppey boat jetty.
