The restaurant serves both contemporary Indian and International
cuisine, with a special emphasis on using local produce.
Swig & Tee' Bar:
The 'Swig & Tee' bar epitomizes the colonial club culture of
British Madurai. One section of the bar is part of the main
clubhouse building of the 1970's, while the new extension features
a contemporary bar counter. Situated adjacent to one of the oldest
Banyan trees of the resort, the bar is an ideal place to enjoy a
sundowner. Just ask the barman for the Heritage Special !
The Coffee Shop:
The Coffee Shop is a part of the original building designed by the
architect Geoffrey Bawa. The location features alfresco dining and
not only serves breakfast, but also a tempting array of fresh
sandwiches, cookies, snacks, pastries and chocolates. Renowned for
fine aromatic coffees and teas , the coffee shop also serves some
deliciously cold mixers. |

you out? Its time you head down to the Heritage Spa. Heritage
Madurai’s very own remedy to melt those cares away. Choose from an
authentic Swedish massage or an ayurvedic one. Select aroma therapy
or a sea-salt treatment. And if confused, just ask the good doctor
in charge. Borrowing a leaf from Jhumpa Lahiri’s book, he is a fine
interpreter of maladies. In addition, with smoothing instrumental
music, select herbal teas and intriguing aromas, your cup of joy
