Location:
Mihir garh is easily accessible by air, as it is situated about 40 km from the nearest airport at Jodhpur, a 45-minute drive through scenic countryside. It lies on the main highway from Jodhpur to Udaipur and on the way to the well-known marble temples at Ranakpur. Jodhpur can also be easily reached by rail.
In the vibrant state of Rajasthan, 55 kms south west of Jodhpur City, there exists a sand dune called “Mali Nathji ka Dhora” which is dedicated to the Warrior God. Mihir Garh is perched significantly upon this mound enriched by history and mythology and beautified by nature. The fort acts as an amphitheatre to the splendour of this land. Mihir Garh is easily accessible by both airport and railway station. From either, the fort is about an hour’s drive through scenic countryside.

The flooring of each room has been done using a special plaster technique known to only one man in the entire region of Jodhpur.
