Guesthouse is a heaven
amidst the sometimes awesome

inside the Norbulingka
grounds, and enclosed by
breathtaking views and
Japanese-styled gardens,
guests cannot help but feel
refreshed and relaxed during
their stay. Each room is
themed by a different
Tibetan mythological animal,
and as at Chonor House, all
the furniture and artwork in
each room was lovingly
crafted by Norbulingka
artisans. Enjoy your meals

right next to the
Guesthouse.
Each room in Norling
Guesthouse is themed by a
different Tibetan animal.
The furniture was lovingly
hand crafted and painted by
Norbulingka artists, as were
the original paintings. Many
of the linens were also
handwoven in our weaving
workshop using the finest
organic cotton.
Rooms:
Norling Guesthouse have
eight double rooms and two
suites on two floors. The
upstairs rooms are set
around an entrance,
flourishing with tropical
potted plants. Twin-bedded
rooms of the Guest House are
comfortable and spacious,
furnished in elegant teak.
Large windows look out on to
fine views. Each room is
fitted with a capacious
attire, a bedside table and
couch, a work-desk and
chair, and a telephone with
international calling
facilities. Each attached
bathroom is equipped with
attractive up-to-date shower
units with constant 24-hour
hot & cold running. Rooms
are air-conditioned in the
summer, and heated during
the winter. A
mini-bar, hot water thermos
and complimentary tea bags
and free wifi services are
also available in the rooms .
Facilities:
The sitting room has a small
library and a television
with DVD player. Guest house
services include internet
access, laundry, room
service, taxis,and private
parking. Norling Cafe
provides a wide range of
snacks and meals that one
can enjoy in the Guest House
or the Cafe. Guests are very
welcome to use the
meditation hall, located on
the first floor of the Deden
Tsuglagkhang, the temple at
the head of the campus.In
addition, scanning and
printing are available in
the lobby at a minimal fee.
Laundry service is also
available.

gardens of Norbulingka ,
Norling Cafe is open
year-round from 7am to 9pm.
Cafe serves delicious
vegetarian food. Room
service is available and
guests can also reserve
private dining rooms. With
advance notice, traditional
dance and music performances
can be arranged as evening
entertainment. Tibetans are
well-known for their liberal
hospitality, and we invite
you to come and experience
it for yourself!
All vegetarian international
cuisine are served in the
cafe , ranging from Tibetan
thukpa to cheese pizza to
hummus and fresh-baked pita
bread. A wide variety of
seasonal juices and
smoothies, as well as
specialty coffee drinks are
also available here . For
dessert, homemade cakes and
ice cream are a real treat.
Groups can reserve private
dining area, which looks out
over the Norbulingka
gardens. Original paintings
done in the traditional
Tibetan folk style, give the
room the feeling of being
surrounded by a beautiful
Tibetan landscape. Spacious
conference halls of the
Guest house can be booked
for gatherings and
conventions, and cafe can
provide catered buffets for
groups of up to 200 people.
