The Tourist Lodge in
Mokokchung is currently the
best place in town to stay
the night. It is situated at
a good location, on a hill
close to the centre of town.
The Tourist Lodge is a
modern building that offers
adequate accommodation. We
suggest the VIP rooms as
they are the large and have
comfortable beds. There is
the ever present, startling
shade of red felt -like
carpets which seem to be
standard issue in all
tourist lodges. The rooms
have strange corners and
projections, but are light
and good sized. The bed and
linen was clean and the
attached bathroom had hot
and cold running water.
There is also a TV in the
rooms with satellite
connection so guests can
catch up with what's
happening in the world.
Food is served in the large
if soul-less dining room and
was quite palatable. In the
lobby, there is internet
facility with a good
broadband connection which
is a great boon. |
