Day 01: Delhi (Arrival)
Around midnight arrival in Delhi. Upon arrival, you will
be met by our representative and transferred to the hotel.
Day 02: Delhi - Bagdogra (by air) - Darjeeling (100 km)
In the morning drive to the airport for the flight to Bagdogra.
After the arrival in Bagdogra you will proceed north of the
state through the coniferous forests and terraced tea gardens
to Darjeeling. By clear weather you can enjoy the impressive
and unforgettable views of the Himalayas. Upon arrival, you
will be transferred to the hotel in Darjeeling.
Day 03: Darjeeling
Early in the morning you will drive to Tiger Hill (around 11
km) to enjoy the sunrise. Tiger Hill (2590 m) is the highest
point in this area. There is a breathtaking view of the
sunrise on the Kanchenjunga. Mount Everest (8842 m) is also
visible on a clear day. In the evening you will explore
Darjeeling and its surroundings. You will visit the institute
of mountaineering where you will get the detailed information
about the natural surrounding and the habitants of this area.
Day 04: Darjeeling - Kalimpong
After having breakfast you will drive to Kalimpong. Kalimpong,
a remote hill station has been a meeting point of the once
"three closed lands" on the trade route to Tibet. The
beautiful mountain scenery and the abundance of flowers have
made Kalimpong an attractive resort. In the afternoon arrive
in Kalimpong and drive to the hotel. In the evening you will
drive up to Darpin Dara, the highest point in Kalimpong which
offers some breathtaking views of the rollong plains of
Siliguri and the Teesta and Rangit valley.
Day 05: Kalimpong - Melli - Siliguri
Today you will drive to Melli for White Water Rafting in the
River Teesta. The major tributary of the Teesta River is the
Rangeet which originates from the Rathong Glacier and meets it
at the border between Sikkim and West Bengal. Here you can
enjoy the river rafting. In the afternoon drive to Siliguri.
Day 06: Siliguri - Bagdogra - Delhi (by air)
In the morning you will drive through the forests and tea
estates to Bagdogra. In the afternoon drive to the airport for
the flight to Delhi. In the evening arrive in Delhi.
The rest of the day at leisure.
Day 07: Delhi (Departure)
Around midnight flight to home destination.
