          Gadsisar Lake - Excavated in 1367 by 
          Rawal Gadsi Singh, it is a scenic rainwater lake surrounded by small 
          temples and shrines. Earlier, this lake was used to be the main water 
          source of Jaisalmer. 
           
          A manmade reservoir, the Gadisar Lake in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan was 
          constructed by Raja Rawal Jaisal, the first ruler of Jaisalmer. In the 
          later years Maharaja Garisisar Singh rebuilt and revamped the lake.

          banks of Gadisar Lake Jaisalmer. Located towards the south of

          through a magnificent and artistically carved yellow sandstone archway 
          that is known as the Tilon-Ki-Pol.

          Lake that reflects the mellow yellow of the picturesque sandstone 
          banks; enjoy a boat ride on the lake or just sit on any of the Ghats 
          and see the yellow sandstone banks change hues of ochre with the
