          Palace is a luxury hotel located on the Jag Niwas island in Lake 
          Pichola, Udaipur. 
          Lake 
          Palace was founded in 1754 by Maharana Jagat Singh II in Udaipur. It 
          is a palace on an island in the middle of Lake Pichola which is 
          enclosed by hills. The hotel operates a speed boat which transports 
          guests to the hotel. 
          
          Earlier, 
          it was known as Jag Niwas by the name of Maharana Jagat Singh. Once 
          the royal summer residences, lake palace seems to float like a dream 
          ship on the blue waters of the Lake. It was the summer palace of the 
          Royal family earlier, now it has been changed into an amazing 
          luxurious hotel. Lake Palace Hotel is one of the best hotels in the 
          world. 
          
          The 
          Maharana, ruler of Jaipur was very friendly with Mughal Emperor Shah 
          Jahan from 1628 to 1654 and encouraged his craftsmen to copy some of 
          the wonders of his unique buildings at Agra. The succeeding rulers 
          held their majestic Durbars in the courtyards. These courtyards are 
          wrinkled with pillared terraces, gardens, fountains and columns. The 
          rooms are ornamented with cusped arches, painted mirrors, green lotus 
          leaves and interior stones of pink and intricate paintings. Inside the 
          Lake Palace, there are various apartments like like the Ajjan Niwas, 
          Phool Mahal, Dhola Mahal, Kush Mahal, and Bada Mahal in the palace. 
          
          The 
          Pichola Lake surrounds the Lake Palace and wrinkling waves of the lake 
          make the atmosphere very amusing. All the luxuries of the Lake Palace 
          have been utilized in making the hotel as attractive and comfortable
