We had a fantastic
time and everything was organised and executed
well by you. Thanks every so much. We have no
complaints whatsoever, except that we could
have avoided going to Chamba (as there is very
little to see or do over there) and
instead stayed overnight in Khajjiar (it was
probably one of the best destinations). All
the hotels were overall of good standard
(except the Chamba one) and we were very
satisfied with the service and food provided
by them. The Rock in Manali was quite nice.
You couldn't have
picked a better driver than Ramesh, who has
the right temperament and patience for these
long drives. He is cautious on the road, and
and knowledgeable of the areas in H.P. He was
always willing to help and we found him quite
understanding.
Mr Khushal Jaswal
provided excellent service and advice at each
stage. Again he was very helpful and
considerate. Please convey are special thanks
to both him and Ramesh for taking good care of
us on the tour.
It is a shame that
the H.P. government has not given any thought
to the infrastructure, as the roads are almost
not travel worthy and exceptionally bad in
patches, adding long hours to go from one
destination to another. Making it difficult to
give accurate and realistic journey times in
the itinerary.
Hopefully we will
be in touch in the future for our holiday in
Kashmir and Nepal/Bhutan. Though would prefer
to cover distances by air/rail, rather than by
road.
