Hotel Taj Garden Retreat is about 15 kms. from the airport, 6 kms. from the railway station, and about 15 minutes drive from the famous Meenakshi Temple and city centre.

There are about 63 centrally air-conditioned rooms in the Hotel Taj Garden Retreat which comprises of Standard rooms, Old world rooms, Superior rooms and deluxe rooms. All these rooms are elegantly appointed in colonial style and well equipped with various amenities like International Direct dial facility on telephone, Channel music and Color television with satellite channels. The Old world rooms are the old styled rooms with some modern facilities and a verandah outside the room. These rooms are the special large rooms with the wooden flooring. Superior Rooms are the newly constructed, spacious rooms with bay windows which offer soothing views of the swimming pool and the city. Deluxe Rooms are very spacious and comfortable rooms with the bay windows. These rooms provide breathtaking views of the Meenakshi temple and the Kodai hills.

Conference and Banquet Facilities:
There is a Vaigai Conference Hall in the hotel. This conference hall can hold about 30 to 225 persons in auditorium style or 500 persons for receptions. Small conferences for up to 20 persons can also be held. The poolside area can hold about 800 persons for cocktails or 250 for a sit-down dinner.
