Day 01: Cochin (Arrival)
Around midnight, arrive at the Cochin (Kochi) airport.
Transfer to the hotel in Cochin.
Day 02: Cochin
Today you will visit the St. Francis Church, Chinese
Fishing Nets, Jewish Synagogue, Mattancherry Palace,
Willingdon Island, Bolghatty Island, Vypeen Island and
Fort Cochin.
Day 03: Cochin - Thekkady (Periyar) (about 195
km)
In the morning drive to Thekkady. On arrival drive to
the hotel. Later visit the Periyar National Park and
have a boat ride on the Periyar lake and observe the
activities of animals.
Day 04: Thekkady (Periyar)
Today you will explore the surroundings on your own and
visit the spice plantations like cardamom, cinnamon,
pepper, coffee, tea estates etc.
Day 05: Thekkady (Periyar) - Kumarakom (about 120
km)
In the morning drive to Kumarakom. The whole day at
leisure to relax and enjoy at the resort.
Day 06: Kumarakom
The whole day is free in Kumarakom.
Day 07: Kumarakom
In the morning enjoy the cruise through the backwaters
in the houseboat. Overnight stay in the houseboat.
Day 08: Kumarakom - Alleppey - Mararikulam (about
70 km)
Today leave the houseboat at Alleppey and drive to
Mararikulam. Rest of the day free to relax and enjoy at
the beach resort.
Day 09: Mararikulam
The whole day is at leisure to relax and enjoy at the
beach resort.
Day 10: Mararikulam - Cochin (about 55 km)
In the morning drive to Cochin Airport or Railway
Station for the onwards journey or flight to home
destination.
