The petrol Verito is less powered and less torquier when compared to Ford
Fiesta, Honda City, Hyundai Accent, Hyundai Verna and Tata Indigo.
Mahindra Verito is a wide-body car and if you want a spacious car then you
can blindly choose Verito as no other car in its class offers as much
space as the Verito. The car has 172mm of ground clearance that allows it
to run off-road quite comfortably. Mahindra Verito had been launched
initially in three engine options 1.4 L, 1.5 L & 1.6 L. Both 1.4 & 1.6 L
engines come as Petrol type whereas the 1.5 L engine is a diesel type.
Mahindra Verito 1.6 L petrol variant is not in production at present.
Mahindra Verito uses SOHC, MPFI engine that is more fuel efficient.
