Day 01: Flight to
India (New Delhi)
Around midnight arrival in New Delhi. Upon arrival, you will
be transferred to the hotel.
Day 02: New Delhi
This day is at leisure either to have sightseeing in Delhi or
for relaxation.
Day 03: New Delhi - Leh (by air)
In the morning we will drive to airport to board flight to Leh.
Upon arrival, transferred to the hotel. In the evening we will
visit Sankar Monastery, which is situated in the Indus valley.
Day 04: Leh - Hemis - Stakna - Thiksey
In the morning after breakfast we will visit the famous Hemis
Monastery. Later drive back to Stakna. Upon arrival we will
meet the Rafting team that includes the Raft driver and
helper. Proper instruction for Rafting as well as safety
techniques shall be given. Then we will begin a thrilling
white water rafting along river Indus. Raft along smooth river
to reach Thiksey. Enroute we will stop at Stakna Bridge and
have lunch. In the afternoon we will raft again and stop at
Thiksey and spend night there only.
Day 05: Thiksey - Spituk
In the morning after breakfast we will drive to visit Thiksey
Monastery. We will also visit Shey Palace, which was earlier
the Royal Palace. We will drive back to Thiksey and start
rafting to reach Spituk. In Spituk we have an overnight stay.
Day 06: Spituk - Leh
In the morning after breakfast we will visit Spituk Monastery
overlooking the whole Indus valley. Later we will drive to Leh.
Evening free to explore the local market.
Day 07: Leh - New Delhi (by air)
In the morning after breakfast transfer to airport to board
flight for New Delhi. Evening free at leisure. After Dinner we
leave the hotel for the airport.
Day 08: New Delhi (Departure)
Around midnight flight to home destination.
