Day 01. Flight to India (Mumbai)
Around Midnight arrival in Mumbai (formerly known as Bombay).
Transfer to the Hotel.
Day 02. Mumbai
Today you will enjoy the city tour of Mumbai. In Mumbai you
will have a walk through the harbour area and visit the
Gateway of India built in 1927 by English to commemorate the
visit of George 5th.
Day 03. Mumbai - Cochin (by air)
In the morning drive to the airport to take the flight to
Cochin. In Cochin visit St. Francis Church and have a walk
through the Jewish area of Mattancherry.
Day 04. Cochin
We have whole day at leisure so that we can explore Cochin on
our own. In the late afternoon visit a Kathakali dance school.
Day 05. Cochin - Munnar (about 135 km)
Drive to Munnar. Today we will explore the surrounding on our
own.
Day 06. Munnar - Carmelia Haven (about 90 km)
Today we leave Munnar and drive to Carmelia Haven. In Carmelia
Haven enjoy your stay in a beautiful bungalow.
Day 07. Carmelia Haven - Periyar (about 25 km)
Today you will drive to the Periyar National Park and start
your sightseeing by having a Boat ride on the lake of Periyar.
After the Boat ride we drive through the park and observe the
Elephants, Bison, Sambhar, Wild oxen, Wild boar and Spotted
Deer which are common here.
Day 08. Periyar - Kumarakom (about 120 km)
In the afternoon drive to Kumarakom. In Kumarakom enjoy the
Boat ride trip through the tropical vegetation on the
backwaters.
Day 09. Kumarakom
The whole day is today at leisure.
Day 10. Kumarakom - Kottayam - Alleppey - Mararikulam (about
70 km)
Today you will enjoy a Boat trip for two hours through the
narrow channels of famous backwaters of Kottayam and arrive in
Alleppey from where you will drive to Mararikulam.
Day 11. Mararikulam
Enjoy the whole day at Mararikulam.
Day 12. Mararikulam
Enjoy the whole day at Mararikulam.
Day 13. Mararikulam - Cochin (about 55 km) -
Mumbai (by air)
Today you will drive to Cochin. In the afternoon flight from
Cochin to Mumbai.
Day 14. Flight to Home
Around midnight flight back to home destination.
