The Beach and Lake Resort is a small privately owned Ayurvedic Resort situated near the famous Kovalam beach in the Thiruvananthapuram district of Kerala. This resort is nestled between the Arabian Sea and the Parvathi Puthanar and Karamana rivers on an island. The resort is not actually on an island but rather at the end of an estuary and can be accessed only by the boat. On one side of the resort are the backwaters, bordered by a forest of coconut palms and on the other side is a secluded expanse of beach that stretches 8 kms north to the Kovalam. It is an ideal resort for having a holiday with fun, frolic and relaxation. The Beach and Lake Resort offers therapeutic and rejuvenating Ayurvedic programmes and Yoga. The resort is open throughout the year and maximum benefit can be achieved by taking treatments during the rainy season of June-September.
