Day 02:
Kumbhalgarh - Ghanerao - Trek (about 15 Kms)
Today in the morning after having breakfast we start our trekking tour
from Kumbalgarh. Today for most of our treks we go downhill. We pass
through some dense forest areas, on the way perhaps we also spot some
wild boars hogs, deer and antelopes. But surely we spot a large
variety of species of birds on the way. We will also pass through the
lone tribal village in the sanctuary area it's a village of the Bhil
Tribe). We stop at Thandi Beri (Crocodile lake). Its a very beautiful
lake situated in the middle of the reserve forest area. Its a heaven
for the bird watchers too.
Then we
proceed further to visit, The Muchala Mahavir Jain Temple where we
spot a number of black faced Monkeys The Languor) loitering around.
Then we
proceed to our Hotel Bagho-Ka-Bagh nearby the temple. Lunch will be
served at the hotel. After a short break and recreation we take a
leisurely walk in the nearby Garasiya Tribal villages, a tribal
village. We take evening tea & cookies a carefully chosen spot in the
Garasiya Tribal village. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
