Day 01:
Arrival in Udaipur - Saira
Today
arrival in Udaipur. Upon arrival you will be met by our representative
and transferred to Saira in Hotel Aranyawas, Overnight stay at the Hotel.
Day 02:
Saira - Ranakpur - Trekking
Today in the morning after having breakfast we start our trekking tour
from Saira through the reserve forest area. We pass through some small
ethnic villages and a very interesting place for bird watching.
Enroute we have lunch at Roopam Resort. After lunch we proceed to
famous Jain temples of Ranakpur.
Ranakpur Jain Temples provide an
insight into the rich temple architecture of the ancient times. It is
also an important pilgrimage sites of Jainism. The temple has a very
wonderful architecture in white Marble. After visiting the temples we
further proceed to hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel Aranyawas.
Day 03:
Ranakpur

Kumbhalgarh
-
Trekking (about 32 kms)
Today in the morning after having breakfast we start our trekking tour
from Ranakpur. After walking for about few Kms. we start climbing up
towards Kumbhalgarh. We take our packed luck on the way. After taking
lunch and relaxing for a while we proceed our walk through the game
reserve. Its an interesting area to explore the flora and fauna of the
region. Arrival in the hotel before sunset. After a short break and
refreshment we proceed to visit Kumbalgarh Fort.
Kumbhalgarh fort was
the second most prominent fort of the Mewar kingdom after Chittorgarh.
Kumbhalgarh fort is a very wonderful fort and has very beautiful
Architecture. Overnight stay at Hotel Kumbhal Castle, Kumbhalgarh.
Day 04:
Kumbhalgarh - Ghanerao

Trekking (about 17 kms)
Today in the morning after having breakfast we start our trekking tour
from Kumbalgarh to Ghanerao. Today for most of our treks we go downhill. We take
packed lunch on the way at Thandi Beri (Crocodile lake). Its a very
beautiful lake situated in the middle of the reserve forest area. Its
a heaven for the bird watchers too. After lunch, we proceed our
trekking tour through some small tribal fields and settlements where
we can view the locals working in the fields. After trekking we
proceed to “Castle Ghanerao” which is a family home of the erstwhile
local nobles in Ghanerao. Overnight stay at Hotel Castle Ghanerao.
