Kumbalgarh. Kumbhalgarh was
founded by Rana Kumbha and his dynasty who were Sisodiarajputs
descendents. Kumbhalgarh is well-known for its historical fort.
Kumbalgarh fort was founded by Rana Kumbh in 15th century AD. Kumbhalgarh
Fort is most
elaborative and large. The fort covers a 36 km long wall which has
seven ramparts and seven majestic gates, one within the other which
are ideal for nature trail. The fort has witnessed many heroic deeds
of great warriors.

Kumbhalgarh is one of the prominent examples of defensive
fortification in Rajsamand district of Rajasthan. It is included in
Hill Forts of Rajasthan and it is a World Heritage Site. After Chittorgarh,
The fort of Kumbalgarh was the second most prominent fort of the Mewar
kingdom. It was founded by Rana Kumbha in 15th century. This fort is
rising from a prominent ridge at an altitude of 1914 meters above the
sea level. Kumbhalgarh is about 85 km from Udaipur.
Kumbalgarh is very easily reachable from some of the important tourist
destinations such as Udaipur, Jodhpur, Ajmer,
and Pushkar.

Ranakpur is
an ideal place for trekking, it is enclosed by the well-preserved
nature of the Aravali Range. One can only wonder at the splendor
