Jeep Safaris are unique in their own ways. In Jeep Safari in Himachal you will be able to witness the daily life of Himalayan people, culture, tradition and village life of the people in Himalayas. This tour will start from the Hill Station "Shimla" and continue to Sarahan, Sangla, Tabo, Nako, Pin Valley, Rangrik, Batal and end in Manali.  Jeep Safari will pass through the snowy mountains of Himachal and beautiful valleys.

Day 01: Flight to India (New Delhi)
Around midnight arrival in New Delhi. The cosmopolitan city and capital New Delhi is the main gateway for travellers to India. Upon arrival, you will be met by an Indo Vacations representative and transferred to the hotel.

Day 02: New Delhi
This morning we will have sightseeing of Old Delhi. Sightseeing of Old Delhi includes "Rajghat" and "Jama Masjid", the great mosque of Old Delhi. Today we also visit the famous "Humayun Tomb" which is the first substantial example of Mughal architecture in India. We will also visit "Qutub Minar" which is 71 meter high and consists of five stories. In 1199 work began on this tower, which was intended to be the most glorious tower of victory in the world. Before we proceed to the hotel we will drive through New Delhi where we will visit the India Gate, Government Buildings and Embassies.

Day 03: New Delhi - Shimla
Today in the morning after having our breakfast we leave New Delhi and move towards Shimla. From New Delhi we will start our jeep safari to Shimla. The British called Shimla the "Queen of Hill Stations." Shimla is situated in the northwest Himalayas. It was the summer capital of India before independence and it is now the capital of Himachal Pradesh. Shimla derives its name from "Shyamala" the goddess Kali, whose temple existed in the dense forest that covered
Jakhoo Hill in the early 19th century. Its well-developed facilities, easy accessibility and numerous attractions make it one of Indian's most popular and biggest hill-stations. There are various places of interest in and around Shimla, which are The Mall, Christ Church, Jakhu Hill, Shimla State Museum etc. We will visit these places. Evening free to visit the local market. We will spend night in Shimla.

Day 04: Shimla - Sarahan
In the morning after breakfast from Shimla we drive to Sarahan. Sarahan lies in Sirmour district of Himachal Pradesh at a height of 4500 feet on the Nahan-Shimla highway. It is basically a unique all-weather hill station. Its location and characteristics are beautiful enough to attract any visitor. It is important to note that Sarahan valley experiences snowfall too, which is very rare and unique because mountain heights in the bracket of 4500 ft. seldom receive snowfall. Sarahan is a very beautiful village, which gives a breadth taking view of the mighty Himalayan ranges. Sarahan valley has the famous "Bhima Kali temple" which is 800 years old and a splendid piece of architecture. In the evening we will visit this temple and explore the surroundings of the Sarahan valley. We will spend night in Sarahan.

Day 05: Sarahan - Sangla
Today in the morning after having our breakfast we leave Sarahan and move towards Sangla valley. It is a picturesque drive through winding mountain roads. The topography changes constantly - conifers, terraced fields, huts perched precariously in the middle of nowhere on distant ridges, the Sutlej River hurtling across the valley. Sangla Valley is located in Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh in the northern Himalayas of India. The Sangla town is located on the banks of the Baspa River and gives a panoramic view of the Baspa Delta. The Sangla Valley is also known as the Baspa valley as the Baspa River flows through here. It is considered as one of the prettiest valleys in the entire Himalayas. We will enjoy the beautiful surroundings at Sangla Valley. We will spend night in Sangla.

Day 06: Sangla - Tabo - Nako
In the morning after breakfast drive in jeep to Tabo. Tabo is the ancient cultural hub of Spiti. It houses the most famous Monastery of Himachal Pradesh. This is over 1000 year old and treated as the most sacred Monastery next only to Tholling Gompa in Tibet. The temples are built in the West-Tibetan style. The inner wall of Tabo is covered by frescos and painting from Buddha's life. Often referred as `Ajanta of Himalayas' Tabo's paintings are still preserved in most original form. After sightseeing of Tabo and after having our lunch we will cross the district of Kinnaur, and stay at the village of Nako. Nako is also known for its ancient Gompa, though it has been badly damaged in recent years. We will spend night in Nako.

Day 07: Nako - Pin Valley
Today in the morning after having our breakfast we leave Nako and move towards Pin valley. Pin Valley is located in the cold desert region of the Spiti valley. Pin Valley was declared as a National Park in 1987. With its snow laden unexplored higher reaches and slopes, the Park forms a natural habitat for a number of endangered animals including the Snow Leopard and Siberian Ibex. Along with animals, rare birds like the Himalayan Snow Cock, Chukor, Snow Partridge and the Tibet Snow Finch also flourish in the area. Steeped in history, the influence of Tibetan culture is prevalent in the surrounding areas of the Park, visible in the Buddhist lamas, shrines, monasteries and culture of its residents. We will visit this park and explore the natural surroundings in this region and also observe the activities of the animals. Evening free for leisure.

Day 08: Pin Valley - Rangrik
In the morning after having our breakfast we leave Pin Valley and move towards Rangrik. Evening free for leisure. We will spend night in Rangrik.

Day 09: Rangrik - Batal
In the morning after having our breakfast we leave Rangrik and move towards Batal in the jeeps. Arrive in Batal by afternoon. Batal is situated at the foot of Kunzum pass, which provides the main approach to Spiti from Lahaul. The panorama as viewed from the top of the pass is enthralling and inspiring. On the way are the Bara Shigri glaciers. Bara meaning big and Shigri meaning glacier in Lahauli dialect. The view of the Shigri Stream emerging from beneath a huge iridescent archway of solid ice is a never to be forgotten sight. The glacier is mountainous mass of solid ice, more than a kilometer wide and extending over a distance of ten kilometers. We spend night in Batal.

Day 10: Batal - Manali
In the morning after breakfast drive straight to reach Manali. Upon arrival, you will be met by an Indo Vacations representative and transferred to the hotel. Manali is situated near the end of the valley on the National Highway leading to Leh. The landscape here is breath taking. One can see spectacular views of well-defined snowcapped peaks and wooded slopes. The Beas River rushes along its rocky course amid grassy meadows carpeted with wild flowers and wagtails hop along from stone to stone along the stream's edge. On the other side are deodar and pine trees, tiny fields and fruit orchards. It is an excellent place for a holiday, a favorite resort for trekkers to various regions in Kashmir valley. In the evening we have sightseeing in Manali. We will visit Hadimba Devi Temple, Vashisht Hot Water Spring, Naggar castle and Arjun cave. We will spend night in Manali.

Day 11: Manali
In Manali we have this day at leisure.

Day 12: Manali - New Delhi
In the morning after having our breakfast we will drive to New Delhi. Evening free at leisure (opportunity for the last shopping or enjoy a massage in the Hotel) After having dinner we leave the hotel for the Airport.

Day 13: New Delhi
Around midnight flight to home destination.
